Superb Stay Near the River

I found the premier room very clean. It had a high standard. Staff are helpful and courteous. I loved relaxing music on the terrace. I watched the river daily life while sitting there. The location near the river allows for a scenic walk to the shops. The train station is not far.
I was out of breath upon arrival. They gave me an upgrade to a ground floor room. The hotel bedrooms need a modern facelift. I saw a bug on the toilet floor.

decent stay, but some issues

large bedno phonescar park issue
i had a classic double room and the bed was large and comfy.
The automated check-in process seemed convenient initially, but it created problems. i couldn't contact reception when noisy guests disrupted my sleep at 5am, as there were no phones in the room. the car park also felt misleading. Paying didn't guarantee a space, so i ended up using the public car park.

my classic double room was nice. the room was very clean. i noted a good shower with strong water pressure. i used the free hotel car park without problem. the location near the river is great. i walked along it easily. i think it a lovely view of the thames from near the hotel. the main street is near. i found the staff helpful. they answered my questions quickly. i did appreciate their friendly attitude. i think its a very helpful service at the reception.
the breakfast selection was slightly limited.
